Course Description

WCMS 8th grade science explores topics in physical science, life science, and earth science. Units of study include Experimental design, energy, Motion and forces, waves, Cells and systems, classification, oceanography (with plate tectonics, movement of water, and environmental science), and weather and climate.

Grades are recorded and calculated based on a total points system.  Percentages of the points earned correspond to the following letter grades:

A : 92-100% ;  B : 83-91%  ;  C : 74-82%  ;  D : 65-73%  ;              F : Below 65%
