About Mrs. Hamilton

This is Mrs. Hamilton's 10th year teaching at Woodford County Middle School. Each year it gets more fun! She teaches Physical Education at the middle school. For the first 3 years, she was the assistant coach of the girls basketball team. She is now director of the Intramural/After School Activities program at WCMS. She also started the archery program at WCMS.

Melody Hamilton has lived in Kentucky for 16 years. She went to Asbury College for an undergraduate degree in Physical Education and Health. After college she went to graduate school at Eastern Kentucky University for a masters in Education with an emphasis on school health. She is married and celebrated her 12th anniversary this year. She loves to do all outdoor activities (water skiing, rock climbing, bicycling) and likes to be active. Usually you will see her with her husband, David. She took a 250 mile bicycle trip one week this summer. She is active in many professional groups such as the Kentucky Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance. She has a little girl who is almost 4 years old.
Mrs. Hamilton looks forward to the 2008-09 school year!!
