Library Programs

Accelerated Reader
WCMS students participate in the Accelerated Reader program according to the specifications of their Language Arts or Reading teacher.  Students who meet their goal may participate in reward activities.

Paperback Book Exchange
Increase your personal library! 
Students may bring in paperback books they are willing to part with to exchange if the books are in good condition and are appropriate for someone in grades 6-8.  Students sign a list indicating how many they brought, and students then may select the same number to take.

WCMS READS Event
Food, friends and fun!
Students sign up to read a book then meet with students and an adult leader who have read the same book.  This activity can be considered a one hour book club and is a great opportunity to discuss a book at a higher level.
