Dear Parents,

Well, can you believe we're in the home stretch?  This school year has gone by so fast for me, and I know it has for you as well.

As we approach Spring Break and then CATS testing, some students have the tendency to get a little complacent about their school work, their attitudes, and expectations.  Encourage your student to stay focused.  It isn't so much how we start that matters, rather how we finish.    All Team 4 teachers are expecting the very best from your student right up until the last day of school.  Let your student know that you expect nothing less!

As we head toward Spring Break, you might want to take this opportunity to read something along with your student and have your own book discussion.  It's amazing how any one piece of literature can be interpreted differently from one generation to another.

If there is anything I can do to help you or your student, please, don't hesitate to drop me an e-mail.  I'll be sure to get back to you within 48 hours.

Sincerely,

Beth Shaw
