Stephanie Koontz
Principal

 Mrs. Koontz began her educational career in Louisiana where she taught English for six years. Upon moving to Kentucky, she taught Special Education and English in Fayette County and later taught English in Anderson County. Mrs. Koontz has served as a senior class sponsor, an academic team coach, a writing portfolio table leader, as well as a site base council member. Academic credentials include a BA from LSU -Shreveport in English and Special Education; an MA from Centenary College in Secondary School Administration; and a Rank I from EKU in Secondary School administration.  Mrs. Koontz served as the assistant principal for two years prior to being named the principal of WCMS. Mrs. Koontz brings a wide background of experience to the position and hopes to serve the students, staff, and community well in her position as principal.

 


Greg French
Assistant Principal

 Greg French joined WCMS in 2006 as Assistant Principal, but began his career at Woodford County High School as a science teacher and school technology coordinator.

He is originally from Leitchfield , KY where he graduated from Grayson County High School .  He earned a Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Kentucky .  He then earned a Master’s degree from the University of Kentucky in Secondary Science Education and later completed another Master’s and Rank I in Educational Leadership at Eastern Kentucky University.

Mr. French enjoys the outdoors, fishing, web page design, skiing, and playing the guitar.

 


Whitney Allison
Assistant Principal

 Whitney Allison joined WCMS as Assistant Principal for the 2007-2008 school year.  Ms. Allison began working at WCMS in August, 2000 .... first as an 8th grade social studies teacher, and then later as a 7th grade writing teacher.
