Pennies for Patients

"Pennies for patients" benefits the Kentucky chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  This campaign is one of the most successful programs in the country with the Kentucky chapter raising over $80,000 last year to help cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, melanoma, and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

Until the end of February our school will be participating in this program.  We encourage you to collect spare change to help other children throughout Kentucky that suffer from leukemia, the #1 disease killer of children.  Children helping children is what makes this program so unique.

Twenty years ago, most children did not survive leukemia.  Now over 80% of childhood leukemia cases will go into remission.
