AR Goal Information

Students will go to the library every two weeks to check books out and to take AR tests.  Students may also read books from home.

Students are encouraged to keep their AR book with them at all times so that they can read when they have the opportunity throughout the day.

The AR due dates will be listed for both written and computer tests.  AR Points are assigned in Language Arts class.  A parent letter will be sent home regarding this information. Students are permitted to read one book that is not AR, and take a written test on it during each 9-week period.    

Please encourage your child to read their AR book 15-20 minutes each day.  Students need to pace themselves in order to reach their reading goal.

ALL CLASSES:  AR DATE FOR THE 4th NINE WEEKS:  JUNE 2, 2010

One Written Test (each nine-weeks) and any number of Computer Tests may be taken to reach the student's assigned point goal.
